Prestbury Church is one of the most beautiful Churches in Cheshire, and has been a place of worship since Saxon times. The Lych Gate frames a wide church path leading to the most beautiful Gothic Church with wonderfully huge church doors. Inside the Church the stained glass and wooden pews are truly magnificent and a wonderful set for a wedding. The Bride and groom had the magnificent candle chandler lit for their wedding…stunning!

The grounds house a Norman chapel which is surrounded by trees and makes the most picturesque scene for wedding images. We were so lucky that the sun shone and as the sun went down over the tress it cast a beautiful glow on the bride and groom.
The Bride and groom walked from the church a few paces to the very well know The bridge Hotel at Prestbury waving to passersby as they went. After joining the guests in the bar of the for a drinks reception they made their way through the gardens as the light fell and the carved pumpkins they had in the grounds took on a glow from the candles inside.
The reception was held in the grounds of the Bridge hotel a favourite wedding reception in Cheshire and after the meal we stayed to capture the speeches and the dancing …..…what a wonderful wedding.
